1. Worldwide Available Eco-Label

Green Key is spreading around the world as a tourism-related global system with 642 awarded tourism facilities in 13 countries, mainly in Europe, in March 2009. To acquire the label, the facility should meet international environmental criteria, and get regular evaluation by external committee.

2. Promote Tourism Facilities in guest-friendly way

Through the evaluation process, jury put emphasis on communication with guests and environmental activities based on their needs. As a result, Green Key logo appears in Danish and French Guidebooks as one of the criteria for tourists to choose hotels.

3. Symbol of Serious Engagement with Latest Environmental Projects

The facility gets evaluated by two aspects; gQualityh- the actual commitment to environment, and gManagementh ? the continual action within the organisation. While formal environmental approach wonft assure Green Key status, various efforts toward the label themselves can be efficient for environmental problems.
